Having been tastefully renovated, the apartment is an attractive home from home and the ideal base for getting out and about and exploring. On entering the apartment, a delightful open-plan living space greets the visitor with a sumptuous sofa forming the focal point of the room; this is somewhere you can easily imagine curling up with your loved one and enjoying spending quality time together. There is a TV and beautiful windows directly overlooking the streets where you can watch life go by from the comfort of sofa. Step into the compact but well-equipped kitchen which is ready to go for you to whip up a romantic dinner for your other half and take a seat at the rustic dining table where you can enjoy an intimate, candlelit meal. When sleep calls then take yourself off to the gorgeously inviting double bedroom which is tastefully decorated with a nautical theme to remind you of your position near the beautiful beaches of Charmouth. The well-proportioned bathroom includes an inviting bath where you can imagine taking a luxurious bubble bath and wallowing with a glass of your favourite tipple in hand; this is what relaxing holidays are all about. Talking of relaxing, if you’re up for a gentle stroll then take a walk into charming Charmouth which has a chilled-out vibe and is home to some delightful shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants as well as boasting one of the finest fossil beaches in Europe. A short but scenic drive away is the towering Black Ven Cliff between Charmouth and Lyme Regis where the first ichthyosaur skeleton was discovered. If fishing is more your thing, then sea fishing for bass is popular from here and a great day out is the National Trust estate of Golden Cap which is the highest point on the south coast. Great walks to have a go at are Pilsdon Pen, Colmer’s Hill and Thorncombe Beacon, all of which offer some stunning coastal and rural views. Handy to visit Lyme Regis via the regular bus service with stops nearby. Enjoyed the Royal Oak pub a couple of hundred yards down the road.

Was lovely and clean and we had a goodie bag with some lovely biscuits, flapjacks etc All were made in local doset bakerys
