Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is described as 'spotlessly clean', indicating a high level of cleanliness that guests are very satisfied with.

The location is ideal for exploring the Jurassic coast and is set in nice gardens, although the approach via steep, narrow lanes could be challenging for some visitors.

The property is generally comfortable with good-sized rooms, although there are comments about soft mattresses and the need for clearer instructions on heating and hot water.

The facilities are highly regarded, especially the well-equipped kitchen and outdoor space. However, points are deducted for maintenance issues like the key safe and the need for clearer instructions for utilities.

Our family had a very comfortable stay. I suggest there needs to be a note in the kitchen about turning on the hot water (switch on the landing). Also note the access lane is very steep and narrow, but we managed. I liked the recycling bins.

The cottage was very well equipped with plenty of cooking utensils and useful cutlery. We made good use of the log burner and it was great to have plentiful logs in the store outside. Only 2 minor comments - it would have been good to have a note in the kitchen re turning on the hot water & heating (we didn’t realise & came back from cycling to cold showers) and also we were a bit overpowered by the room fragrance defusers! Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

We are blessed with 7 days of glorious weather so made the most of it. The suggestion that we could also use the adjacent field is a bit out of date because it is very overgrown. There are only a few minor points we want to make that would help future visitors. The approach via a steep, single track lane with loose gravel was a bit of a surprise on arrival, particularly when we met a car coming the other way. It was never a problem after that but an advanced warning (after a long drive) would be helpful. It would also help if the name of the property was easily visible on arrival (i.e. facing down the hill). The key safe was easy to find but all the logs piled up beneath it made access tricky (for us older folk!). However, those are minor points and should be read as such. Overall, this is a great property for a week on the glorious Dorset coast. We highly recommend it.
