The heart of the home awaits in the generous kitchen, equipped with a range of great amenities certain to entice any budding chefs, as well as a sociable dining table where you can host dinner parties and enjoy casual meals during your stay. Alternatively, there are a wealth of dining alternatives in the garden spaces, make full use of the grounds and explore alfresco furnishings around the barbecue. Gather in the roomy living room for a family film night, snuggling up in front of the roaring woodburning stove as you relax on the sofa with a glass of wine. Add an element of luxury to your break and spend an evening in the outdoor hot tub, a lavish hot tub where you can sit under the stars and indulge in a night of bliss. If you can tear yourself away from the property, stroll over to one of the nearby supermarkets to stock up on essentials for the kitchen, whilst the centre of Weymouth is home to a wealth of shops, markets, pubs, restaurants, and cafés to choose from. Beachside and nature reserve walk within 10 min from the house. Bus stops directly outside the house, 5 min trip to the centre of Weymouth and close to the vibrant harbour with its many cafes and pubs, perfect for those days when the weather is a little unsettled and you want to while away a couple of hours, taking away the stress of finding somewhere to park your car, and incurring charges for parking, the bus trip is suitable for all ages. Take a stroll over to the seafront and treat yourself to a sunny day on the beach, surrounded by colourful beach huts, golden sands and activities including thrilling watersports, traditional donkey rides and a historic harbour further down with fishing and boat trips. Other local attractions include Sandworld Sculpture Park, the SEA LIFE Centre, RSPB Radipole Lake, Alexandra Gardens entertainment and theatre, Sandsfoot Castle, Nothe Fort and Nothe Gardens. Visit the exciting county town of Dorchester just over six miles away where you can immerse yourself in culture at the choice of museums, riverside walks, and weekly markets, whilst the Isle of Portland is the perfect day out for a remote day out along the 18-mile long shingle Chesil beach. Other must-see Dorset villages in sight include Burton Bradstock, West Bay, Osmington Mills, West Lulworth, and the historic Jurassic Coastline spanning from East Devon to Poole.
