Itâs in the middle of a very quiet residential area where it sticks out like a sore thumb. It is however, a very functional house. It would have been nice to have a visitors book to be able to see what other people recommended when they were holidaying the area. The kitchen utensils and crockery are poor quality (difficult to self cater for 8 due to lack of serving dishes, and general kitchen equipment). Kitchen could have been cleaner (grime on cupboards), it would have been nice to have a pint of milk in the fridge for arrival - also when paying peak prices itâs a bit tight to leave 2 toilet rolls and 2 dishwasher tablets for a 7 day stay in a property that is supposed to sleep 8. The garden furniture is tired / needs a clean - it would have been nice to have a bbq (and some pegs to be able to use the washing line). We had to call to have the shower looked at (wouldnât drain) but this was resolved promptly. There was also an issue with ballifs knocking on the door, which was resolved, but wasnât ideal.

Good position to walk through Lodmoor Country Park to the sea. As a family we like to self cater, but felt that the kitchen was short on some equipment. We enjoyed glorious weather for our stay, but had it been wet, there was nowhere to hang coats.

We enjoyed good weather so the large outside space was a bonus. We catered for ourselves the majority of the time and would have liked a few more kitchen utensils and equipment. We also felt coat hooks would have been useful. However these are minor niggles and certainly did not detract from a great stay in a lovely house. Would definitely return.
