Every single person we encountered or even just said good morning to was kind and welcoming. We had a big group and were getting ready for a wedding - the house has lots of rooms and bathrooms! I think some of the things in the house are just different than what we are used to —that didn’t make them wrong! Showers and water pressure are smaller but that’s the fun of being away from home! There are views for miles and Forest of Dean was so close. Touring east takes an hour to most places on the other side of the river. We went to Westonbirt, Cotswold Villages and Stratford Upon Avon. Off street parking at the house was a huge win. It’s worth a try!

The upstairs shower pressure was rather low. We were amused by the upside down wall light in the dining room. Not that anything could be done about the parking size area but manoeuvrability was awkward for larger cars. The size of the house was really good for a larger number of guests. The welcome pack was very much appreciated.

! Parking was good, but without the low walls would be even better!!
