However, for what it cost we expected it to be better equipped-oven gloves, more sharp knives, an airer for clothes would have been useful. The windows were covered in fingerprints and needed a good clean. Some instructions on how to operate the heating, the oven and the microwave would have been helpful. The details could be clearer on the website in terms of where the parking is. My mother was able to go up the steps but the walk down to the car was difficult for her and a space by the lodge would have been better for her. This ought to be clear on the details. Despite being in an isolated location, there was a lot of noise from the road due to lorries from the quarry and timber lorries.
