The Wesley Apartment in Wells, Somerset, is praised for its prime location, spaciousness, and peacefulness despite being close to the city centre. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches like wine and flowers. While some mention minor issues with maintenance and comfort, the overall sentiment is positive, with many planning to return.
Most guests found the apartment to be clean and well-presented, with some noting it was 'immaculate' and 'beautifully clean'. However, a few guests mentioned issues with cleanliness, such as dust and unclean kitchen items, which slightly lowers the score.
The apartment's location is highly praised for being central, quiet, and within walking distance to Wells' attractions and amenities. Its proximity to shops and eateries, as well as parking convenience, is frequently commended.
Guests generally find the apartment comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bed. However, some guests noted the 'super king' bed was two singles pushed together, and there were comments about the need for better mattresses and pillows.
The apartment is appreciated for its amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen and parking. Nonetheless, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as problems with the hot water system, shower, and lighting, which suggests room for improvement.
Guests often mention the thoughtful gestures of wine and flowers upon arrival, which contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. While these gifts are appreciated, it is important to note that such personal touches, though delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.

You cannot fault its cleanliness or proximity to the town of wells. Itâs a nice place to stay. I would definitely stay there again. There are one or two things that could be improved. The shower in the en suite was cold, and would heat up no matter what you did to it. The sofa in the lounge is very comfy, however when you have more than 2 people staying you need another comfy sofa or armchair. Also a few tea bags in the kitchen wouldnât go amiss

It's very comfortable and ideally located for the centre of Wells, being only a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral and Bishop's Palace. There is also a very handy Tesco Superstore which is literally a 2 minute walk away, and a Waitrose which is just 3-4 minutes drive. The only slight glitch with our stay was a problem with the hot water system. However, a quick phone call to the owner Stuart, who is a charming gentleman and very helpful, and the problem was dealt with.

It is in a perfect location for us as we love to walk into Wells & it has parking. The apartment is so light, spacious & very quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. If only it felt a little more cared for & had a 2nd comfy sofa instead of 3 ( nice looking) but uncomfortable chairs. It would be perfect in every way. However this doesnât put us off coming back, weâve already booked a 4th visit.
