Walking through the Cricket St. Thomas estate will bring you to Cricket House, which was once the location for the Penelope Keith-starring television series "To the Manor Born" but is now a part of the Warner Cricket St. Thomas Hotel. The Fleet Air Arm Museum is one of the largest aviation museums in the world and is located 7 miles north of Yeovil. It has many historic aircraft on display. Use of hotels leisure facilities was an unexpected bonus. Gorgeous setting in ever so quiet south Somerset, the land that time forgot. Looking forward to visiting again.

I am disabled and it was perfect for me on my crutches and walking frame . My wife used the pool which was quiet and perfect for her . The gentleman in reception (might have been Steve ) was very helpful and helped us with our cases when he saw my disability . Only comment the M5 chaos on a Friday would prefer to stop Monday to Monday . Gravel path up to the Lodge could do with some more fine grit , for me anyway.
