Ideal for walking and taking in the breathtaking views, the town is also well placed for exploring numerous National Trust attractions and historic houses. A visit to stunning Stourhead House and gardens, only 2 miles away, is not to be missed, while Longleat House and the ancient hilltop town of Shaftesbury featured in the Hovis adverts, are also close by. Stonehenge, Wilton House, Salisbury and the Dorset coast are all easily accessible by car, providing much to see and do for a variety of tastes.
