The Cross Keys - Henley

We are a community hub/pub with a vision that when United we can create something extraordinary. By using products from companies who share the same ethos we are able to support far more local companies than your average pub. We don’t stock any big brands - you’ll only find smaller local companies here. Everything we source takes a lot of time because we want to ensure we feel happy with their ethics. Mostly local, mostly organic, 100% sourced with love.

Kazia, Tina and Dan set up a Facebook page called Joinavision in July 2020 as a way of bringing people together after a very difficult time. They’d long felt a lack of community which only seemed to getting worse and worse especially as more and more pubs were closing down. Buying and renovating The Cross Keys was a step towards creating a less divisive world and building a better sense of community. The pub now has a weekly quiz, fortnightly acoustic nights, biker nights, family days and every Saturday there’s live music for all the family. With Pilates, yoga, meditation, gong baths going on during the week it has many offerings. Home education is another passion so the pub has regular classes going on every week.

The Cross Keys is situated a few miles outside of Ipswich. There are good dog walking, cycling and biking routes all around this stunning and relatively undiscovered part of Suffolk. Woodbridge is a nearby beautiful town with a lovely river walk. There are also many beautiful stately homes to visit and Christchurch Mansion in central Ipswich which was donated by Felix Cobbold to protect the area from redevelopment. There’s plenty to do in this stunning part of Suffolk.
