We are not fishers, but felt very comfortable amongst those that were. We booked our break as a last minute thing as we were after some time away from it all. We certainly managed to achieve this, the peace and tranquility we experienced was fantastic, the surroundings are beautiful. We spent many hours out on the decking watching the fish in the lake or in the hot tub with a glass of wine. Will and Sarah were fabulous hosts and did make us feel very welcome, they were very friendly and visible. We booked Wagtail lodge and found it to be very clean inside and comfortable. The furniture and linen are good quality and the dishwasher and washer dryer were only a couple of the great additional facilities. We would certainly return for another stay. We gave 4 stars as some minor visual wear and tear which is to be expected, as the lodges aren't new (marking to the outside base of the shower, discoloration to areas over hot tub, outside decking worn in areas), but the experience itself was 5 star for us personally.
