The Round House in Suffolk is a spacious and well-stocked property with a large garden, appreciated for its suitability for extended families and its proximity to local attractions. Guests have enjoyed the thoughtful welcome gifts, though these are not guaranteed. Some concerns were raised about internet connectivity, garden furniture comfort, and a local cockerel. Overall, the property provides a good base for exploring Suffolk.
The property generally seems well-maintained, though there are mentions of cobwebs and a dirty wardrobe shelf. The lack of soap and a missing hand towel were noted, suggesting room for improvement in cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for its peacefulness and convenience, with attractions reachable within 30 minutes. However, poor internet and mobile network coverage slightly mar the experience.
The property is considered comfortable with various rooms to relax in, though some furnishings were noted to favour style over comfort. A suggestion for a handrail in the bathroom indicates a thought for additional comfort for older guests.
There is insufficient information to accurately score the facilities and maintenance as a whole. While the kitchen is well-stocked and the garden is appreciated, issues with internet connectivity and a request for garden furniture cushions suggest some facilities could be improved.
Guests have mentioned welcome gifts, which are a thoughtful touch, though it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed. Suggestions for improvements indicate that guests feel their comfort is considered.

For more bedrooms, ascend the stairs and discover two delightful en-suite bedrooms with half-moon windows in keeping with the history of the building and décor which adds a real air of opulence. Outside, enjoy the fresh countryside air at the patio where a table and chairs provide you with a great spot for alfresco dining. Easton is steeped in history, and this is noticeable as you walk through the village and see the different cottages and farmhouses, and there is a selection of pubs and cafes a short distance from the village at Wickham Market, where you can enjoy a variety of meals and a glass of your favourite beverage, as well as stocking up on essentials at the local convenience store. For a family day out, visit the wonderful Easton Farm Park, where you may be lucky enough to see baby animals in the spring, or there is the option of riverside walks. Further afield you can find the stunning Suffolk coast where you can enjoy a family walk and picnic with your four-legged friend, try out watersports and keep an eye out for wildlife! Make a holiday to remember with a stay at The Round House.
Easton is a small Norfolk village, just off the A47, seven miles west of the city of Norwich. There's a fine dining restaurant in the village, and plenty of choice for eating and drinking in neighbouring villages, particularly Marlingford and Bawburgh, which are a short drive away, as well as in Norwich itself. There are two golf courses a stone's throw from the village, and just ten miles to the west is the picturesque Mid Norfolk Railway, one of the UK's largest preserved railways. Norwich is a short drive away, with bustling shops and thriving nightspots, and in contrast, the rural countryside around Easton is ideal for a quiet walk. Also on the doorstep is the Norfolk Showground, which hosts a variety of events all year round including the annual Royal Norfolk Show.

Big garden with plenty seating. Another comfy chair in the conservatory would seat a 6th person as well instead of having to use a kitchen chair. This is where we spent most of our evenings. Beds were good and comfortable.

One suggestion - since there is a downstairs bedroom complete with en suite this makes the cottage suitable for older visitors accompanied by younger family. A very welcome addition in the downstairs en suite would be a hand rail to make getting in and out of the bath/shower easier and safer. Assuming that one day we will get lovely sunny weather again a few sun beds would be very welcome. Otherwise, we love it!

The house had all we needed and is near to many of the best parts of Suffolk. Only criticism is the garden furniture would really benefit from some cushions as it's a lovely garden to sit in but the chairs and benches are quite uncomfortable after a while.
