Guests say

Quill Farm Barn is highly praised for its beautiful setting, spacious and well-equipped accommodation, and suitability for large family gatherings. Guests enjoyed the tennis court, local walks, and the proximity to Suffolk attractions. The property's garden and outdoor dining area were also appreciated, making it an ideal venue for celebrations and holidays.

The property consistently receives compliments for its cleanliness, with guests finding the accommodation spotless upon arrival. Only one mention of a stained mattress protector and a smelly oven suggests minor room for improvement.

The location is celebrated for its tranquility and proximity to local attractions, pubs, and shops. Some guests noted the lack of well-maintained public footpaths, but the overall sentiment is positive, with easy access to nearby beaches and historical sites.

Guests find the barn very comfortable, with special mentions of the quality of beds and the warmth of the property. There were a few comments about the heat in one bedroom and the desire for air conditioning, but these were minor compared to the overall comfort experienced.

The facilities, including the tennis court and BBQ area, are well-received. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as a sparking microwave, worn tennis court, and the need for better kitchen utensils. The quick resolution of problems by the maintenance team mitigates these concerns.

While many reviews express gratitude for the host's attentiveness and local recommendations, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

Lovely accommodation. The owner Richard checked that all was well and to see if we needed anything which was very nice indeed. The barn as lovely and warm all the time, which was great in this weather. Grandsons even enjoyed a game of tennis!

We all fitted in lovely. The different spaces were well thought out. The balcony space became our card playing area and nap space. Communication with the owner was excellent. There were a couple of maintenance issues which the owner was pleased to be alerted to so that they could be rectified. Lots of great forest walks nearby, especially Rendlesham Forest. Lovely place for coffee 5 minutes away at the station. Altogether a lovely week had by all.

The property owner, Richard, came over to introduce himself and gave us some great advice on local walks and dining. Great place to stay. Loved it.
