Red Poll Barn is highly praised for its stylish comfort, beautiful views, and welcoming hosts. Guests enjoy the peaceful setting, wildlife, and proximity to local attractions. The property is well-equipped, clean, and offers a relaxing environment, making it a recommended choice for a holiday stay.
The barn is consistently described as exceptionally clean, with multiple reviews highlighting its tidiness and the provision of ample towels, suggesting a high standard of cleanliness.
The location is appreciated for its tranquillity, proximity to beaches, towns, and country walks. However, one mention of a busy nearby road slightly impacts the perfect score.
Comfort is frequently mentioned positively, especially the beds and the peaceful environment. Some guests noted the furniture was low for elderly guests and the seating depth was not ideal for shorter individuals, which slightly lowers the score.
Facilities are generally praised for being well-equipped and spot on, with a well-provided kitchen and secure property. A minor concern about window locks for guests with children is noted.
Guests frequently mention the thoughtful touches, such as welcome gifts and the availability of games and DVDs. It is politely noted that while such gestures are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.
The stylish Living/Kitchen/Dining room is light and airy, ideal for socialising with friends and family. A bespoke well-equipped kitchen sits at one end, next to the dining area furnished with table and six chairs, with the comfortable sitting area next to the doors so you can make the most of the fresh air in the summer. Both bedrooms are beautifully furnished, one twin and the other king with the modern bathroom sitting between the two.

Charlotte
The barn is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed, including some delicious jam made by Jacqui. The location is stunning and perfect for exploring lots of nearby places - Halesworth, Bungay, Southwold, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh to name a few. Thank you so much for having us!
Imogen
We were able to borrow games, DVDs and some crabbing buckets and nets which our sons loved! Location was great, just outside of the lovely town with everything there, Butchers, Bakery, Deli, choice of Take-aways and eating out. Only 15 minutes from the beach at Southwold which we visited a number of times. We were able to take our dog which was fantastic for us as a family! Didn't need to take towels (only beach towels) which saved us a lot of space in our suitcases, thank you!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay here. Jacqui and Nick, the hosts were on hand to assist with anything we needed. We celebrated my husbands 60th whilst at the barn and Jacqui even arrived with a card and a gift. We were left wine and cookies for our arrival which was a nice touch. Ideally located for the cost. We visited Southwold, Dunwich, Thorpeness. Aldeburgh and Beccles, all within a 30 minute drive. Would definitely return.
