Sophistication greets you in every corner of this stylish ground-floor apartment close to Southwold and the beach. Its lovely mix of original features with contemporary comforts makes it an ideal getaway for couples or small families looking to explore the Suffolk coast and countryside.
The love and care that have gone into designing this beautiful home-away-from-home shine through in every room, and its eclectic appeal, from art works to lighting, is evident the moment you step through the front door. The elegant kitchen/diner boasts plenty of space and all the equipment you’ll need to conjure up delicious holiday meals, and includes a dining table for four as well as French doors leading out to the garden. After supper head to the lounge, a gorgeous place in which to relax for the evening, with comfortable seating gathered around an ornamental fireplace and a Smart TV. The bedrooms, a double and a twin, also feature beautiful ornamental fireplaces, and boast quality mattresses and bed linens. They share a glamorous shower room in which stunning floor tiles and a huge walk-in shower vie for attention. The back garden, enclosed by hedging and a brick wall, includes a lawn area where children can play as well as a patio with a table and chairs, ideal for morning coffee, sundowners and outdoor meals.
The cottage is located in the village of Reydon, where you’ll find two village stores and a hotel with a restaurant and bar. It’s less than a mile from buzzy Southwold where there’s so much to do, whether you want to spend the day on the beach, stroll along the pier, tour the famous Adnam’s Brewery, explore the shops, galleries and places to eat or simply wander around and enjoy the views of the iconic lighthouse and colourful beach huts.

This is a lovely apartment and appears to be recently renovated to a high standard, it’s very spacious and comfortable, loved the fireplaces in the lounge and bedrooms and also the cuckoo clock in the kitchen. The location is good a 5 min drive to Southwold High Street where there’s many interesting shops and also the sea front. Would highly recommend Coasters Restaurant very good menu and wonderful staff.

The property was clean and in the main well equipped. Because it is a flat on the lower ground floor of an old house with wooden floors, sound insulation is very poor. Fortunately, the 'neighbours' weren't particulary noisy, but their conversations could sometimes be over-heard! We had a particularly cold fortnight and did suffer cool conditions in the house; however, the owner explained how to over-ride the heating system to counter that somewhat.

Hurn Crag House is a lovely flat and very well equipped. Has a nice garden to sit in for breakfast or just to relax. Has off street parking for one car. A very well -stocked local shop a short walk away (5 minutes) which is very convenient. Comfortable beds, property nicely decorated and clean. A nice place for a quiet break.
