About this property

Nestled within a mile of Southwold's bustling high street and the picturesque Southwold beach, this charming cottage awaits your discovery. Reydon is a quaint village divided from Southwold by Buss Creek, a narrow waterway where fishing boats once moored. It serves as a haven for cyclists and walkers. At the road's end lies a gateway to the marshes, where a scenic walking path beckons, guiding you to the renowned pier. In the village you will find a well-stocked grocery shop approximately fifty metres away, and friendly hotel with restaurant and bar. Explore Southwold's rich history through the art galleries, independent shops, and Adnams Brewery tours. Don't miss the opportunity to admire the iconic pier, the distinctive lighthouse, and the vibrant beach huts or indulge in delectable seafood delights (0.5 miles). Take a trip down to the harbour and catch the foot ferry to Walberswick during the summer months (1.5 miles).

The moment you enter this beautifully decorated cottage, you're welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere. Begin your journey in the inviting lounge, adorned with modern décor and plush furnishings, including a sumptuous sofa and two inviting armchairs. Unwind in front of the Smart TV or lose yourself in the pages of a captivating book, the perfect way to relax after a day filled with adventure. Continue your exploration into the well-equipped kitchen, where culinary delights await. Whether you're whipping up a feast or simply preparing a quick snack, you'll find everything you need within arm's reach. Adjacent to the kitchen, a charming dining room awaits, complete with a table and chairs where you can savour family meals or engage in lively board game sessions with loved ones. You'll find the family bathroom conveniently located on this floor. Retreat to the comforts of the upper floor when it's time to recharge. Here, you'll discover two charming bedrooms, each offering a tranquil sanctuary for restful nights. The main bedroom features a comfortable double bed with storage space for belongings, while the second bedroom is a delightful twin room, perfect for accommodating children or additional guests. Between the second bedroom and the bathroom is a further small room with a day bed and desk that can be used as a study/reading room or snug. There is a second bathroom with a shower located on this floor.

Step outside into the garden, where you'll discover two lovely seating areas ideal for enjoying al fresco dining or savouring a morning coffee while basking in the sun. A lovely cottage in a very quiet residential street. Very pleasant and friendly neighbours with lots of useful local information. Very well stocked kitchen with good quality appliances. Good local convenience store with some great local products and other essentials. Great location, very close to Southwold. I would definitely stay again

Comfortable, beautifully decorated cottage very handy for Southwold. Street surprisingly noisy especially early am, also you can hear the neighbours through the walls but pretty and in a lovely part of the country.

A clean, well presented and well equipped property in a lovely quiet location. The bedding was good quality and the bed was comfortable. This was an excellent base for our stay and was in easy walking distance to Southwold centre so we didn’t need to use the car and try to park in Southwold and there is a well stocked local shop just around the corner. The lovely cottage garden was a bonus given the sunny weather that we experienced. We would be happy to stay there again.
