Postmasters is an outstanding Edwardian apartment occupying the first floor of a prestigious period property just off the High Street. Interiors are elegant and stylish with high quality furnishings. Decorated in a neutral palette with a coastal vibe, this two bedroom self catering holiday home is all on one level. The spacious living area has a couple of sofas in a soft grey colour, dining table and chairs and a lovely working open fireplace. This bright and airy room has access onto a small balcony overlooking the High Street. The main balcony is to the rear and is south-facing furnished with a couple of cushioned steamer chairs and a dining table and chairs for four, a lovely private spot to sit with a coffee and watch the world go by.

Lovely property in the centre of Southwold, close to cafes and shops and only a short walk to the beach. Spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Easy to use central heating system, kept us cosy on chilly October days.

The apartment is lovely. What would probably prevent us booking it again is the noise from the above apartment which we understand has hard flooring unlike Postmasters that is carpeted. It's a real shame but the noise was an issue for us The sash windows are lovely but only single glazed (we understand this might be due to age of the apartment or cost of replacing them for double glazed units) which is why we noticed the traffic noise. The welcome pack was a lovely treat especially the yummy H&J biscuits. So much so we had to buy some. Great to have the parking space because we only book properties with parking. Such a shame about the noise from above apartment otherwise we'd definitely book it again and also recommend it.
