You may find this ancient village close to Ross-on-Wye and The Forest of Dean; it is surrounded by picturesque, unspoilt countryside in Herefordshire and has two excellent pubs and a well-stocked general store. With the Herefordshire Trail and the Wye Valley Walk both going through the village, there are a tonne of great opportunities for hikes and bike trips. You may take a stroll along the River Wye, go on a leisurely cruise on the river, or view the countryside from a hot-air balloon while in the market town of Ross-on-Wye, which is home to several Tudor timbered houses, a 17th-century market hall, unique shops, and restaurants. Close by lies England's largest oak forest, the majestic Royal Forest of Dean, where you may enjoy a wide variety of outdoor pursuits like cycling, horseback riding, abseiling, canoeing, and countless scenic hikes. Hereford, with its interesting Mappa Mundi world map and chained library, Hay-on-Wye, known as "the town of books," Ledbury, with its many food and drink festivals, the majestic Black Mountains, and the gorgeous Brecon Beacons National Park are all within easy travelling distance.
