Guests say

Lane House in Bishops Castle is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its spaciousness, comfortable furnishings, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the clean rooms, stunning views, and the property's proximity to local amenities and countryside walks. The owner's helpfulness and welcoming nature are frequently mentioned, contributing to a pleasant stay.

The property is generally described as clean, with specific mentions of clean shower rooms and well-presented outdoor space. However, a few guests noted areas that could benefit from a deep clean or mentioned minor issues like dust, which slightly impacts the overall high cleanliness rating.

The location is highly praised for its spectacular views, proximity to the town, and easy access to local pubs, shops, and walking country. The only minor drawbacks mentioned are the narrow access lane and the town hall bell, which do not significantly detract from the overall excellent location score.

Guests find the property comfortable, with comfortable beds and bedding, a warm house, and a spacious living room. Some guests suggested improvements like additional towel rails and mentioned trip hazards from rugs, but these do not greatly diminish the overall comfort experienced.

The property is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and guests are pleased with the amenities provided. Some reviews suggest that certain aspects, such as decor and appliances, could be updated or maintained better, which slightly lowers the score for facilities and maintenance.

While the reviews frequently mention the owner's helpfulness and the well-equipped nature of the property, there are no specific references to gifts or special thoughtful touches that go beyond the expected hospitality. Therefore, a score cannot be provided for thoughtfulness.

Lots of bathrooms and 5 bedrooms. Lounge was very comfortable and dining area plenty big enough. We we lucky with the weather and made the most of sitting out in the garden looking at the fantastic view. Good location right in town centre for easy access to shops, pubs and walks. All really enjoyed our stay.
