31 Riverside is a well-maintained, cosy cottage in Bridgnorth, praised for its cleanliness, prime location, and unique hot tub set in a cave. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, including a welcome hamper and fresh flowers. While the property is dog-friendly, some guests were inconvenienced by restrictions. The cottage's charm, combined with its proximity to local amenities and the responsiveness of the owner, make it a favourite for many repeat visitors.
Guests consistently note the cottage's spotless condition, with no evidence of previous pet stays, indicating exceptional cleanliness standards.
The property's location is highly praised for its convenience to the town and river walks, with ample parking and scenic surroundings.
The cottage is described as cosy and comfortable, with comfy beds and a welcoming atmosphere, though some guests found the downstairs sleeping arrangement less comfortable due to pet restrictions.
Facilities like the fully equipped kitchen and hot tub are appreciated, but some guests mentioned the hot tub's jets were not very powerful, and steep stairs could pose a challenge.
Guests are delighted by the thoughtful welcome pack and fresh flowers, although it's politely noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The market town of Bridgnorth lies in two very distinct halves - the High Town and the Low Town - separated by the red sandstone ridge on which the town is built. The two halves are connected by winding streets and flights of steps, or there is always the steep funicular railway, enabling the weary traveller to glimpse what Charles I called "the finest view in all my kingdom". A bustling Saturday street market provides an ample excuse to explore the town and examine the castle ruins, which lean at a greater angle than the Leaning Tower of Pisa! Flowing below is the River Severn, providing many pleasant riverside walks. The Severn Valley Railway runs between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster, and runs a variety of steam and diesel engines through picturesque country stations. In the areas surrounding Bridgnorth, there are a wealth of country parks, impressive houses, museums and picturesque Shropshire villages, as well as easy access to The Royal Air Force Museum at Cosford, and Ironbridge Gorge, with its 10 museums and striking landscape. The area offers excellent walking, and with the popular destinations of Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Church Stretton all within easy reach, it is ideal for a visit any time of the year.

Bed very comfortable. Parking on the outside road was never a problem esp. with the parking permits. So many walks directly from the cottage and many dog friendly pubs within the immediate area. A great place to stay.....
