Church Stretton 3.3 miles. The Brewhouse is a rustic, former farmhouse resting in the quaint village of Minton, near Church Stretton in Shropshire. Tastefully-preserved, with characterful stone walls, wooden beams, and flagstone flooring present throughout, this 200-year-old abode provides off-road parking for two cars, a collection of well-appointed interiors, and a superb location at the heart of the magnificent Shropshire Hills National Landscapes (AONB), inviting a family or a group of friends for an unforgettable countryside retreat. Park up outside The Brewhouse, taking a moment to soak in your idyllic new rural surroundings before you step inside to make yourself at home. Once inside, store your outerwear in the boot room before you enter the kitchen/diner, an elegant and fully-equipped living space that serves as the true social hub of the home. Watch as the chosen chef rustles up a delicious, home-cooked meal whilst you and your loved ones uncork a bottle of wine at the dining table. An electric fire which has a woodburning stove effect keeps the sitting room warm and toasty, which itself comprises ample seating and a sleek, wall-mounted TV. On sunny days or warm evenings, head out into the garden to lounge on the outdoor seating as you raise a glass to toast your getaway. When sleep finally calls, be sure to refresh with a rejuvenating shower on your way to settling down for your valuable rest in either a sumptuous king-size or twin bedroom. If you can tear yourself from your tranquil new base, you can step out directly onto 5000 acres of National Trust-owned common land, or jump in the car and head out to explore what's on offer in your local area. The briefest of drives will bring you to your nearest pubs and restaurants, The Station Inn and The Ragleth Inn, whilst just beyond lies the market town of Church Stretton, where you can find The Kings Arms pub for a hearty lunch, visit one of several convenience stores that sell homely essentials, pick up some fresh bread at Mr Bun The Baker, or simply enjoy a spot of tea at Berry's cafe. For a full day out, continue north until you reach the historic town of Shrewsbury. Set upon the River Severn, the ancient setting offers an abundance of exciting things to do and see, whether that's snapping photos of Shrewsbury Castle or Shrewsbury Abbey, joining a tour of the ominous Shrewsbury Prison, sampling local produce at Shrewsbury Market Hall, or even ambling peacefully within the serene setting of The Quarry. Whatever you get up to during your next stay in Shropshire, do it from The Brewhouse.

Tom and his family made us feel so welcomed. We loved learning more about the history and local area. The cottage is in the perfect location, with plenty of walks on your doorstep or just a short drive away. We loved the kitchen and dining area and it was fantastic to have so much space. We both fell in love with Shropshire and will definitely be returning! Thank you Tom, Brian and co for our wonderful stay and always being on hand.

Our hosts were particularly welcoming and looked after us during our stay. We found the cottage to be well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Both arrival and departure were straightforward. We would be very happy to stay at the cottage on another occasion.
