Church Stretton 7 miles. A superb semi-detached barn conversion, set on a working farm, in the peaceful village of Stapleton. Refurbished to a very high standard, this spacious and charming property retains a wealth of original character, including a woodburner and exposed beams throughout. The spacious, well equipped kitchen with dining area leads down 3 stone steps to a hallway featuring a wonderful oak staircase. The lovely master bedroom offers open access to the gallery and boasts a four poster bed. The charming towns of Shrewsbury and Church Stretton are within easy reach.
This huge hill is topped by a moorland plateau of heather and rocks and broken on the eastern side by a series of hollows or "batches". This is a popular walking area - ideal for exploring the Shropshire Hills. Church Stretton is the first town in Shropshire to receive Walkers Welcome status. Walkers Welcome towns are places which have something special to offer for walkers more than simply being a fantastic place to come an enjoy the great outdoors. The town also holds its own annual Walking Festival in June. In the Carding Mill Valley, there is a thriving antiques centre with over 60 stalls. This is open every day and nearby Acton Scott Historic Farm will give you a taste of 19th Century farming. There are attractions to suit every age and taste in this region, from the Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom to the historic Dudmaston Hall.

It is attractively decorated and situated on the edge of a farm. The farm is in a small hamlet of around twenty houses. The hamlet is in an ideal location to visit the countryside and surrounding places of interest. Friendly owners and farm car Jet.
