. Something we've never had to do before and it left us feeling quite dismayed. Toilet rolls, washing up liquid, tea towels, etc etc When we arrived the WiFi we were told would cost us £18 a week. Again, something we've never had to pay for, so for four nights in the rain I stood by the pub to get the free WiFi. To only check the booking and it says WiFi. After popping across to reception the young lady gave me a code. Why wasn't this code mentioned? The tiniest of "Welcome" packs consisting of a miniscule eco washing up liquid and a J cloth that melted after the first use!! However. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was a wonderful addition. The location was great fir exploring the local area. The ambience however of the apartment wasn't homely. It just felt like a hotel room with the barest minimum of a welcome. Just as well we'd booked the apartment as we'd have had to bring towels too!! It just needs a little more effort to make guests feel valued.

Also no oven gloves to pull hot trays out of oven a good job we took some of our own tea towels with us

Very clean and warm. Beds were very comfortable and swing chair is a lovely touch. The only feedback I would give is that the kitchen could be abit better stocked…a few more dishes, bowls, tea pot, coffee pot etc would be great. And although it is very nice to be able to switch off from technology it would be good to provide free WiFi . Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
