The Coach House in Pickering receives high praise for its beautiful decor, comfortable furnishings, and excellent location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped property, its proximity to walks and local attractions, and the friendly local pub. While some minor issues are mentioned, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
Guests consistently note the property as spotlessly clean, with only a single mention of some areas being missed by the cleaning staff. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to the positive experience.
The location is celebrated for its tranquillity, proximity to walks, and the local pub. The village's charm and the ease of exploring the North York Moors are highlights. However, one guest noted the challenging access road, which slightly impacts the score.
Comfort is a standout feature, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the property homely and cosy. There is a single mention of a bed not being very comfortable, but this seems to be an isolated opinion.
The property boasts high-quality appliances and thoughtful touches. Some guests mention challenges with cooking facilities and outdoor furniture, but overall, the facilities are well-received. The presence of an AGA and the availability of an EV charger are appreciated.
While guests express gratitude for the welcome pack and the provision of items such as Prosecco, there is no consistent mention of gifts across the reviews. Therefore, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness based on gifts, and guests should not expect them as a guarantee.

The location is perfect for exploring the area. The property is absolutely beautiful and the owners have clearly put a lot of thought and care into providing everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. It was a real home from home and we would definitely love to return for another stay. A special mention must also go to our lovely neighbour for the week, who went the extra mile to ensure we felt welcome and had everything we needed.

We were delighted to find ourselves in a recently decorated/furnished character property that was maintained at an extremely high standard. The lady next door was warmly welcoming and helpful to us.
