On arrival two off-road parking spaces await you and your guests. Kick off your shoes and heading into the cottage appreciating the stripped wood and original features adorned throughout. Head into the amply-equipped kitchen to prepare dinner for your family and friends; enjoy this together at the large dining room table, discuss your plans for the trip or reminisce over the memories you have created. ‘As the evening draws to a close, unwind in the sitting room and admire the warmth of the electric fire; afterwards recharge your batteries on the first-floor bathroom for a soothing soak. When sleep calls, there are three king-size bedrooms to choose from, all with storage to house your belongings. In the morning, if the sun is shining enjoy your breakfast or morning coffee at the table in the enclosed garden. Well located to enjoy Helmsley!! Only improvement would be to be able to open a window for bit of fresh air!!

It is in a perfect location for the pretty town of Helmsley and the beautiful surroundings of North Yorkshire. The allocated parking is also a definite bonus. On a negative note feel that more storage space is required in the bedrooms, as had to keep a lot of clothing in the suitcase (I note that other visitors have made the same comment) There was also the grim discovery of dog mess on the lawn in the garden and as pets are not allowed in the property, it is likely the gate was left open and some local residents allowed their dogs to use the garden as a toilet! The gate needs to be more secure to prevent this from happening again, as unpleasant for everybody. However, in closing this is a very cosy and welcoming cottage and would definitely like to return. The welcome gifts on arrival were also much appreciated. Thank you.
