Wayside Cottage is a delightful, stone-built, well cared for cottage in the pretty village of Wrelton, just a few miles from the market town of Pickering and close to the North York Moors.
Wayside Cottage is a very comfortable, well cared for cottage situated in the village of Wrelton which has a country pub serving food and a childrens play area nearby. Suitable for families and couples. The nearby market town of Pickering has an abundance of tearooms, pubs and restaurants, as well as the market on Mondays, where you can spend a lovely day browsing round the stalls and local shops, stopping for lunch at one of the many eateries. From here you can travel on the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway as far as Whitby, a scenic journey passing through moorland villages such as Grosmont and Goathland. The village play area, which has a range of outdoor play equipment, is just 50 yards up the road.

Parking: Off-road parking for one car.
Patio: Large patio with furniture.
Heating: Gas central heating, gas fire.
Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times.
Notes: Hand towels provided but please bring your own bath towels. A travel cot, high chair and a stairgate is available on request. Additional Z bed available at additional cost. Unlimited WiFi is available free of charge. No smoking at this property. Mobile phone signal is variable.
Pub: 150 yds. Shop: 1 mile.
Other attractions in the area include York, Castle Howard, Helmsley Walled Garden and Eden Camp War Museum. You are also within an easy drive of the coast and there are many villages and towns just waiting for you to explore them, Sandsend, with its stretch of sandy beach, the traditional fishing town of Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay and the larger seaside town of Scarborough

This property was very clean and cosy. Central heating readily available at touch of a button. None of these dreadful storage radiators some cottages have. Hot water constantly. Location was lovely village just outside Pickering.
