Wander inside to the open-plan sitting room, boasting leather sofas where you can sit back and watch TV in front of the woodburning stove, tucked into a charming fireplace. A dining table rests near the French doors, overlooking the garden so you can enjoy some quiet time admiring the backdrop. Close by, a well equipped kitchen is a lovely place to prepare your favourite meals before heading back into the lounge to unwind. A cloakroom also lies just around the corner before you reach the stairs. On the next floor, a double with king-sized bed bedroom is dressed with character, with pretty bedside tables, wall detail and accessories. To complete the set up, an en-suite is classically designed with elegant fittings and a shower so you can get ready at ease. Could not locate the radio 'in the kitchen' The standard lamp in the open plan area downstairs needs a new bulb- couldn't locate one which was 'right' for the lamp. Warm and comfortable and near the facilities on the complex Quieter than we thought it might have been at the weekend, but this was a good thing. Wondered why there was a orb to mount in the parking area.

!!5* star accommodation and site, especially for a dog owner with long walks along the bay! Did miss the lovely 'welcome pack' this time, but perhaps no longer feasible? And no logs for wood burning stove in two visits. But, this does not distract from the qualities of the Causeway Cottage and it's fabulous location. We will be back again and continue to highly recommend the place!!!

We have already booked again for next year. It is close to the beach path so little legs can walk without complaint. The play park around the corner is lovely. The facilities and activities on site are great, we tried archery and tie die. The cottage has plenty of room for a family of four. A real home from home. Location wise it is also only a short drive from Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington so if you want to go out itâs not far at all. Just perfect and the owners are very quick to help if you need anything. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks you so much.
