Snaptrip says

Londesborough Cottage in Scarborough receives high praise for its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches, including welcome gifts. Guests appreciate the property's quiet location, proximity to amenities, and its suitability for dogs, despite the lack of an enclosed garden. The cottage is well-equipped and maintained, with a cosy atmosphere and attention to detail that makes it feel like a home away from home. Some guests found the sofas uncomfortable and the outdoor seating area limited when used for parking, but these were minor points in otherwise glowing reviews.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers consistently mention the exceptional cleanliness of the cottage, describing it as spotless and one of the cleanest they've ever visited. The high standard of cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.

The cottage's location is praised for being quiet yet conveniently close to local amenities and attractions. Its proximity to supermarkets, post offices, and the North York Moors & Coast is appreciated, although some noted the outdoor area can be dusty due to nearby farm traffic.

The comfort of the beds and the homely feel of the cottage are frequently complimented. However, some guests found the Chesterfield sofas to be uncomfortable, which slightly impacts the overall comfort score.

Facilities are generally regarded as excellent, with the cottage being well-equipped and offering a range of amenities. The abundance of equipment and thoughtful extras are highlighted, although there is a mention of a non-working washer and a desire for more enclosed outdoor space for pets.

Guests frequently express gratitude for the thoughtful touches, such as welcome gifts of chocolates and cider, and the provision of detailed local information. It is noted, however, that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be a consistent offering for all stays.

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped and very easy to find in a very very quiet area, but close to local tourists towns and places to visit. Easy access to park and rides for Scarborough, Whitby and Bridlington. There is a bus stop just up for the road too.
