It is a lovely property and very spacious, we were a party of 2 with 2 dogs. When you enter the Loft, you are straight into a large boot room, which is a great area for drying off the dogs after a walk and leaving our boots and coats. It also contains the washing machine, with the dryer just outside the door in the carport, again which is very useful. The Loft was so cosy, in fact we had to turn the temperature down to suit us, but this was easy to do using the thermostat. There is everything you need in the kitchen, with a big fridge freezer making a change to the usually small ones in other cottages. The bed is the most comfortable i've ever slept on, I called it the magical mattress! The dogs loved their walks around the farm, there are a lot of fields to walk around, the road is quiet to walk down and there is a farm road behind the cottage that takes you on a circular walk. There are also numerous other walks from the door we didn't have time to do. We visited Filey beach as we love it there, but be careful of the tide times. We also visited Filey Country Park. But other than that we didn't leave the farm grounds as it was so nice to be able to potter around there. The owners are very nice, thank you for the welcome basket for us and the dogs, and are around if you need anything, but otherwise leave you to enjoy your stay. We will definitely be back if we visit the area again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend is to family and friends.

Debra & Mark were so helpful & we loved walking around the farm & doing the various walks from the door...which is always a bonus. Great welcome pack too with fresh eggs, milk & biscuits plus treats for the dog. Highly recommend a stay here it's a really good base for seeing Scarborough, Pickering & villages. The forge inn is friendly & serves great beer! We will be back I'm sure!

Good welcome pack including dog treats. Owners very helpful. Great place for a base for a walking holiday, short driving distances from Scarborough and other seaside places with good road access and walks near the farm. Great views from the windows with everything being on the first floor. Would go again.
