I have stayed before with previous owners and what was nice from them was a welcome basket waiting for you when you arrived. The barn is very cosy and clean. Just a couple of little things maybe an iron/ironing board and a small vacuum especially when you have pets with you, just to enable guests to keep the place clean if staying for a week or so. But all in all a great place, with equally great owners. We loved it soo much we have booked for Xmas 2025 and canât wait. Hoping to get a cheeky stay in between too. If you want a nice quiet break in a beautiful little village then this is the one for. 100% recommend!!!

great location, re local pubs and fantastic walks within walking distance from The Barn. Lovely quiet village. The Barn however has a lot of negatives. Which was disappointing. Strong smell of smoke from the wood burner (We did not use) as soon as you open the front door. Very dark once inside. No opener on loung window two small skylights (do not open) one in the bedroom unable to open and had a dark blind permanently closed. Leak in shower going through to the small closet visible around electrical socket giving a trong smell of damp. Uncomfortable bed with only one pillow each. The Barn for us was quite claustrophobic with lack of ventilation and light. We made the best of it as only there for 6 nights Quite honestly The Barn needs an upgrade it needs much more lighting.and ventilation The fabric curtains and very old carpet need replacing as I'm sure the smell of smoke is in all of the fabric! Shame really because it is a very quaint little Barn conversion in a fantastic location
