Come bedtime and guests can make their way to the lower-ground-floor which houses the property’s two beautifully presented bedrooms, a twin and a double, together with a family bathroom which completes the appealing accommodation. In the morning, you’re in the perfect spot to get out and about exploring with Whitby on the doorstep with beaches, a lighthouse, a great selection of shops and eateries to discover as well as the opportunity to take coastal cruises to look out for whales, seals and all kinds of exotic wildlife. Check out Whitby Abbey which is famous for its 199 steps and is steeped in history and you won’t want to miss a visit to the Captain Cook Memorial Museum. The North Yorkshire Moors are on the doorstep so it’s worth lacing up your hiking boots and heading out for some fresh air and spectacular views. Towns nearby worth jumping in the car for a day out include Scarborough, York and Guisborough.
