Guests say

Sea Holly Lodge is highly praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and quiet, secure location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, comfortable furnishings, and the thoughtful touches such as welcome packs. While there are some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for improvements, these do not detract from the overall positive experiences. The lodge's proximity to the beach and scenic walks adds to its charm, making it a recommended stay for a relaxing holiday.

Guests consistently note the lodge's cleanliness, with many reviews highlighting its spotless condition upon arrival. A few minor comments about mould and a smell in the bathroom suggest room for improvement, but these are exceptions in the overall feedback.

The lodge's location is frequently commended for its tranquillity and proximity to the beach and scenic walks. The secure site and the ease of exploring the local area are appreciated, although some guests mention difficulty finding the entrance.

Comfort is well-received, with guests finding the lodge spacious and the beds comfy. Some guests mention issues with single beds and seating, indicating that while comfort is generally good, there is some variability in guest experiences.

Facilities are generally regarded as well-equipped and adequate for a pleasant stay. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as boiler problems, loose fixtures, and a lack of standard TV channels, which suggests that attention to these details could enhance the experience.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is evident in the welcome packs and additional items like toys and games. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is politely noted that such extras are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

Location is also fantastic, less than a 10 minute walk to the beach (although it is a very steep hill!).

A fabulous property in a brilliant location. Extremely spacious, very comfortable with good facilities. It's been 2 years since we last visited and there are a few minor issues, the top shelf in the fridge is broken and falls out easily, a couple of things missing from both bathrooms where there are just fixings on the wall, shower in main bathroom won't stay high on the pole and just slides down, window by front door still not fixed in 2 years but at least there's a notice saying not to use it! As I said, just minor issues but thought I'd mention them. We had a fantastic holiday and will definitely be back. Thanks

It was very quiet and relaxing and plenty to see and do. The only thing we couldn’t do was work out how to turn the heating down as at times it got a little too hot in the lodge but apart from that everything was perfect. Will definetly book again during summer months and have a bbq in the beautiful outdoor space. Thank you again for a wonderful few days away
