The property is well appointed, looks freshly decorated and is well maintained throughout. All the rooms are spacious and there is ample storage in the bedrooms. The owners have given a lot of thought and taken great care to ensure guests are able to make the best of their stay. 1 Oshawa Dell is a most comfortable home from home from which to explore the East Riding and North Yorkshire.

The owner had contacted us to let us know of a few issues but they didn't affect our stay. She had also provided us with lots of further information. We only had two issues - the kitchen was very well equipped but this meant there wasn't any cupboard space to put our groceries away, just 1 small cupboard in the utility room. With 5 adults, a child and a dog this was a bit of an issue as we didn't want a week's worth of food lying around on the worktops. The other issue was that there is a cat that hangs around. You couldn't have any downstairs windows or the sunroom doors open as it would go into the property, and as it was hot this was not ideal. Also our dog is not used to cats and it would sit on top of the sunroom roof, on the log store, u nder the patio furniture or just the other side of the wire garden fence, causing our dog to continually bark. Had we been aware of this we probably wouldn't have booked this property.

The kitchen is extremely well stocked and the conservatory the best room of the house. Was lovely sitting in the garden in the evenings. Lovely quiet location. Great communication with the owner.
