Two bright and comfortable bedrooms provide a good nights rest, and a family bathroom completes the accommodation at this lovely cottage. Outside is a front garden area overlooking the golf course, where you can relax on sunny afternoons with a picnic, planning tomorrows adventures. Practice your swing with a round of golf at subsidised rates. Take a peaceful stroll around the course or through the surrounding Forestry Authority woodlands, whilst within easy reach, the Yorkshire Wolds provide picture-perfect countryside to explore. A ten-minute drive takes you to the centre of York, with its ancient architecture, renowned restaurants, pubs and tea rooms. Make sure to take a tour of the city walls and the atmospheric cobbled streets, with quaint shops set along The Shambles. Summer and winter, there is something to fascinate the whole family.

It was extremely clean and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom and bath and comfortable beds. Set in wonderful surroundings it is both in the country and very close to York, a short drive away is the park and ride, designer outlets, shops, and restaurants. I received a detailed text message on how to find it and where to park, and when I arrived a lovely touch was a pint of milk in the fridge and some biscuits on the side. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting York and would love to return

Very Clean and comfortable with everything you need available. The site is very quiet and within easy reach of York especially using the Park and Ride at the Designer Outlet just up the road which is very good value for money especially using our bus passes. The Hole in the Wall pub in High Petergate York, serves lovely food and good value for money with a good Sunday Roast. Wheldrake woods attached to the golf course makes a good walk. If coming back to York we would always stay here again if possible.
