Sea Otter Cottage receives high praise for its stunning location, cleanliness, and well-equipped facilities. Guests consistently mention the beautiful views, the cleanliness of the property, and the thoughtful touches such as a welcome basket. While some guests noted the beds' comfort level varied, the overall experience is highly regarded, making it a sought-after holiday rental.
Reviews frequently highlight the cottage's cleanliness, with many guests describing it as 'spotless' and 'very clean'. This consistent positive feedback suggests a high standard of cleanliness maintained at the property.
The location is celebrated for its magnificent views and proximity to local attractions. Some guests mentioned the road noise and difficulty finding the property, but these were minor points compared to the overall appreciation for the setting.
Comfort receives positive remarks, especially regarding the cosy atmosphere and views from the bedrooms. However, there are mixed reviews about the beds' firmness, with some finding them too hard and others too soft, leading to a slightly lower score.
The cottage is praised for being well-equipped, with a particularly well-stocked kitchen. Some minor suggestions for improvement include providing firewood and kindling upon arrival and a note about the television reception. Overall, the facilities meet guests' needs effectively.
Guests appreciate the thoughtful gestures, such as welcome gifts and the owner's helpfulness. While these gifts are warmly received, it is important to note that such personal touches, although delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.

I loved it, a real home from home, will definitely be booking again. Location for Glencoe, Cairngorms, Oban, FW was ideal, would highly recommend the cafe at the highland soap company and the scones at NT glencoe centre were the best! I canât fault anything at the cottage

The views across Loch Linnhe are stunning and all the rooms were very homely and comfortable, a real home from home and very well equipped. Expect a little bit of noise from the road but it didnât bother us in the slightest - a really good location between Fort William and Oban, with an excellent Co-op at Ballachulish a few minutesâ drive away. The owner Cherry was very friendly and helpful with any queries.
