Situated at the head of Loch Long - the most northerly point in the network of lochs that extend from the Clyde Estuary - is the village of Arrochar. This region is very popular amongst climbers, due to its proximity to Ben Arthur, often referred to as the Cobbler, and various other peaks. Also in the area is the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The village itself offers an unusually large selection of shops, restaurants and pubs and is just a mile and a half away from another Loch Lomondside village - Tarbert. The impressive expanse of water of Loch Lomond provides a variety of interesting and exciting activities such as a gentle stroll through the Balloch Castle Country Park and the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. There are numerous other walking and climbing opportunities throughout the region.

Great off street parking at apartment level making loading and unloading people and luggage a breeze. Sweet view of the Loch. Great location for visits to other sites! Thank you.
David
The property looks out across Loch Long with wonderful views to the hills known as the "Arrochar Alps". If you love walking, botanic gardens, and historical sites this a great base. The gardens at Benmore are worth a visit, as is the site at Auchindrain and the castle at Inverary. The apartment itself needs an upgrade but is quite adequate for a small family and has plenty of potential. Ronnie, the owner, is a pleasant and cheerful character and keen to try and ensure vistors have a good stay. Most of local places serving food are of typical pub grub places and for a good restaurant you need to travel further to Loch Lomond or Loch Fyne.

The view at the property was amazing. Inside the layout was perfect for us and it had everything we needed for a self catering break and more! Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and the most wonderful view. Only returned home today and already wishing I was still there.
