Friendly owner lives on site. Not a criticism but be aware that the approach to the site is up a steep narrow stony track

Sue met us on arrival and showed us around and how things work like heating etc. The cottage was really cosy and well stocked, no need to bring anything really apart from food and drink. It was also tucked away from the main road. John was so full of knowledge of the area and gave us suggestions on places to visit which were not on the usual tourist map. We just did not appreciate how beautiful this part of the country was. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and John and Sue were the perfect hosts. Weâre already looking at booking to go back next summer.

There is a good field for exercising dog with lovely views. John on hand if needed. Would definitely recommend the cottage and will certainly be back. Nice also to get a good working hoover and not one of those rubbish Henry ones
