Ardfern is a scenic coastal village on Scotland's Craignish Peninsula, in the magnificent and dramatic Argyll region. Ardfern is an ancient village with evidence of inhabitants reaching back to 600 AD, with a wrecked church on the Peninsula dating from the 12th century. Today, the village has a pub, a shop, a craft centre, a tearoom, and a marina, all of which are conveniently located for sailing off the west coast. Craobh Haven has a second marina, and the towns of Lochgilphead and Oban are worth a visit.
