Guests say

Granny's Cottage receives high praise for its cleanliness, welcoming hosts, and thoughtful touches like homemade scones. The quaint, well-equipped cottage in Dunbeath offers a comfortable stay with a well-stocked kitchen and cosy atmosphere. While some guests found the beds firm and the lack of Wi-Fi a drawback, the charm of the cottage and its location in the Northern Highlands make it a delightful base for exploring the area.

Guests consistently noted the cottage's immaculate condition, with multiple mentions of its cleanliness and provision of fresh towels and flowers.

The cottage's location is appreciated for its quietness and proximity to local attractions and walks, despite some comments about road noise and phone signal issues.

While most guests found the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable, a few noted the beds were too firm and the living room furniture was not to their preference.

The reviews provide mixed feedback on facilities; guests are pleased with the well-equipped kitchen and cleanliness, but some mention the lack of Wi-Fi and modern amenities, making it difficult to give a definitive score.

Many guests were touched by the thoughtful gestures of the hosts, such as homemade baked goods and a welcome package. However, it's important to note that such personal touches, while common, are not guaranteed.

This is one of my favourite 'visit again' places to stay - and I never tire of my visits to both Granny's Cottage or Dunbeath. I can recommend a very welcoming and comforting stay at this holiday rental. Hazel and Maurice are wonderful hosts and provide everything required for a great holiday. ~A~
