Fort William is the main town in Western Highlands and is situated just 16 miles away from Glencoe. The town lies on the banks of Loch Linnhe and comes with a selection of shops, and pubs which serve good food. Within the surrounding area you will find opportunities for walking upon Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. Also within close reach is the Nevis Range, a ski resort with a mountain gondola and the Ben Nevis Whisky Distillery.
