The name Comrie, which means "a place where rivers meet," comes from the Gaelic word conruith and is suitable given that the settlement is situated at the junction of three rivers that eventually feed into the Tay. Comrie is a wealthy highland community in Perthshire. Standing stones and archaeological ruins can be seen nearby, indicating the region was populated in prehistoric times. Weaving and its location on the droving route from the Highlands to lowland Scotland and London contributed to Comrie's early success. With its perfect location for exploring the mountains and lochs nearby, as well as tourist sites like Earthquake House and Auchingarrich Wildlife Park, the modern community benefits from wildlife and adventure tourism.

We would recommend having a handful of unbreakable children's plates and cups that are dish washer safe. Also recommend making a short video of how to turn the oven on and then make a QR code so people can scan it and watch to know how to turn it on. Had a really great stay and have already been telling everyone about it!
