The forests surrounding Dunkeld and nearby Birnam are known as Perthshire Big Tree Country and are celebrated in Shakespeare’s “Scottish Play”. We could not have asked for anything more and had a lovely break in beautiful surroundings.

We love the wonderful wildflower garden and the peace and tranquility. Great walks on your doorstep and lots to explore further afield. The cottage has absolutely everything you need and really does feel like a home from home! The homemade bread on arrival is a lovely touch and it's so nice to be warmly welcomed back by David and Sally.
