Law Cottage is in an exceptional location to cycle routes and to the secluded immersion into nature. It has over half an acre of enclosed garden immediately adjacent to a James Braid golf course where we have a relationship which will allow playing access at modest course charges. With Gleneagles within a 35 minute drive, the cottage provides an ideal base for keen golfers. Alternatively, for cyclists, there is immediate access to Perthshire’s road cycle trails. There is a large porch for wet clothes. The property offers complete relaxation but is within a 20 minute drive of Perth to the east and Crieff to the west. Walk to the other side of the cottage and there are forest paths. Deer and red-squirrels are regular visitors to the garden and there is a salmon ladder within 3 miles on the River Almond. Nature photographers and bird-watchers will love the place, but everyone could appreciate the calm of sitting on the patio and listening to bird song. There are ten nature photographs by Rosanna Forbes displayed on the walls, each taken within half-mile of the cottage. There are no immediate neighbours but the cottage has fast internet access and Tesco delivery is possible. The accommodation comfortably sleeps four in three bedrooms and is serviced by a well-equipped kitchen. The sitting room is a beautiful room: light, airy and with panoramic views of the garden from three sides. The room catches the sun most of the day but a log stove makes the room perfectly warm and welcoming. Law Cottage is a wonderful base for both families and groups of friends on an activity holiday. Nestled between the Tay Forest Park and the Trossachs National Park, it is also close to the amenities and attractions of Perth and Crieff, including the Glenturret Distillery.

Situated in the heart of Scotland and known as the 'Fair City', Perth boasts many fine shops, bars and restaurants in addition to its two large parkland areas. This delightful city lays claim to many awards and accolades including an award for Britain in Bloom, Beautiful Scotland in Bloom and the Scottish Tourism City of the Year award. Among the city's main tourist attractions are the Perth museum and art gallery, the Black Watch museum, the Scone Palace - the crowning site of the King of Scots, and four 18 hole golf courses. The nearby cathedral town of Dunkeld and the Victorian village of Birnam, located on the opposite bank of the River Tay, are also within easy driving distance. With the Festival Theatre at Pitlochry and the Victorian holiday destination of Crieff, situated in the stunning Strathearn countryside, both easily accessible, this is a superb location for a varied and enjoyable holiday.
