Guests enjoy the stunning grounds, wildlife, and nearby walks, making it an ideal retreat for nature lovers and those seeking tranquillity. The property's proximity to Perth and local amenities adds to its appeal.

The location is frequently commended for its beauty and convenience, offering easy access to Perth, scenic walks, and wildlife. The peaceful and quiet setting in the grounds of a stately home is particularly appreciated.
The flat is described as warm, comfortable, and roomy, with comfy beds and a cosy atmosphere. A few guests mentioned the mattresses being softer than preferred, but this did not significantly detract from the overall comfort.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the flat being well-equipped. However, a minor criticism includes limited cupboard space for personal food items, and one guest had difficulty with the DVD player, suggesting room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

The village of Scone sits two miles north of Perth, and is correctly called New Scone to differentiate it from Old Scone, which had been a medieval village based around the monastery of Scone Abbey and abandoned in the 19th century. Scone Palace dates from the early 1800s in the Georgian Gothic style and is a popular visitor attraction with rooms and grounds open to the public. There is a selection of local shops and amenities in Scone, as well as Perth Racecourse, the two 18-hole Murrayshall golf courses, and a wider range of shops available in nearby Perth. A wonderful base for exploring the south east of Scotland.

Enjoyed our stay very much. The flat had everything, was cosy and comfortable and made a good base for exploring nearby and further afield. Stephen was a welcoming host and on hand if required. It was very interesting to hear about the vision for the grounds and very generous to share them, even with dogs! The dogs having the run of adjoining field was a bonus. So glad we chose it and would definitely recommend.

The flat was very comfortable and well equipped, situated in beautiful grounds and surrounding countryside. I would have no hesitation in booking another stay at the property.

The owner and his family are absolutly lovely, they have a huge garden, which you can go in at any time, lots of land to explore and the old house is taken care of with love and passion. The location is in the heart of scotland and therefore perfect to explore the country, go for long walks with an amazing view over city and landscape or just hang out in the cozy flat and read a book with a cup of tea. Overall you get so much comfort for such a low prize, we will definitly come back. Thanks a lot for everything :)
