Runglee is a well-appointed cottage in the Scottish Borders, praised for its spaciousness, beautiful furnishings, and comfortable beds. Guests appreciate the peaceful setting, well-equipped kitchen, and enclosed garden, making it ideal for dog owners. The sunroom is a highlight, and the property's cleanliness and thoughtful welcome pack contribute to a delightful stay. While mostly quiet, some privacy concerns were noted.
The property is consistently described as very clean, with only one minor mention of a maintenance issue that does not directly pertain to cleanliness.
The location is appreciated for its quietness and views, with easy access to local attractions and Edinburgh. The peaceful and dog-friendly environment is a recurring positive aspect.
Guests find the beds very comfortable and the overall layout of the cottage conducive to a relaxing stay. One mention of a less comfortable mattress suggests a slight deduction.
The property is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, and the sunroom is a favourite feature. However, there are comments about a leaking toilet and lukewarm water in the bath tap, indicating some room for improvement in maintenance.
The welcome pack and lovely soaps are mentioned as nice touches, indicating thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.
