Kailzie is a wonderful bell tent set on the outskirts of Peebles, a beautiful village in the Scottish Borders. This lovely dwelling is perfect for couples seeking a romantic retreat because it offers a serene sanctuary with breathtaking views of the surrounding area and easy access to neighbouring attractions, guaranteeing a wonderful trip. This neat little hideaway has two single camping beds and two footon beds. This area is a true refuge, complete with a kettle that allows you to make tea in the morning without getting out of bed and a warm woodburning stove for chilly nights. For added convenience during the day, there is a communal kitchen area nearby for when you don't feel like going out to eat. In addition, there's a communal shower area (one minute walk away) with plenty of showers for you to enjoy a peaceful wash after your adventures. Step outside to the front of the house and you'll find a charming garden perfect for sipping sun on a warm afternoon, complete with a gravelled area. Moreover, you can enjoy some alfresco dining or a refreshing beverage at the picnic bench while admiring the serene landscape of the Scottish Borders. As you finish your time at Kailzie, visit the Tweeddale Museum & Gallery to see some local artwork and history. The ancient, Royal Burgh town of Peebles rests proudly in the beautiful River Tweed valley, amidst the picturesque Scottish Border Hills. The town's heart lies at its main shopping street, situated on a spur of land between the River Tweed and Eddleston Water, and is home to an array of fine shops, interesting pubs, quality restaurants and the Eastgate Theatre. Located in an area boasting lower than average rainfall, clean air and bright sunshine, visitors flock to Peebles throughout the year to enjoy a variety of events which include art festivals, highland games and the renowned Beltane Week.
