It has lovely walks from the doorstep, with plenty of bird life and even a deer. Although a very peaceful quiet spot, it is within easy reach of shops and places to visit, including Dunblane, the Wallace Monument, and Stirling caste. Further away is Loch Katrine, also well worth a visit. And if you feel like putting your feet up, you can sit in the cosy lounge looking out at the woods and fields enjoying some of the treats the welcoming owners have left for you.

You cannot beat the loveliness and tranquillity of the cottage and its location. This time we came in Autumn and the colour from the wooded area is spectacular. Lovely greeting from the owners and as we'd been twice before, it felt like we were returning home! Definitely a great central location, we travelled to Dundee, Edinburgh and the Trossachs villages, and had a lovely meander through Dunblane enjoying the lovely shops there. A well kitted out cottage and we cannot wait to return. Thanks for sharing with us again.
