About this property

Engulfed by the lush countryside setting of Anglesey and a stone’s throw away from the popular seaside village of Rhosneigr is this superb annexe-style accommodation, Pensarn. This is a great find for couples or solo travellers seeking to explore this glorious part of the country, where you will find a plethora of things to do within the immediate area. After soaking up the far-reaching views from the garden and across the open countryside, step into the open-plan living room, which has been beautifully presented to offer you and your loved one a welcoming space to call home as you explore Anglesey. As you enter the accommodation, flick on the electric fire to enjoy the gentle warmth as you sink into the sofa, and browse the channels of the Smart TV, providing you with great evening entertainment. To the rear of the room are a range of quality appliances that are certain to encourage a spot of home-cooking and the dining table makes a great space for enjoying quality time with your loved one and planning the next day’s adventure. Moving through the property, the contemporary elegance is continued into the bedroom, which features a lavish double bed with quality linens that you can curl under for a refreshing night’s sleep. Continuing to impress is the outdoor area, where you will find a private patio area offering a spot for alfresco dining during the summer months, as well as a hot tub to take a plunge in and an external bar where you can enjoy a beverage or two after a long countryside walk. If you can tear yourself away from this bolthole, make your way into Rhosneigr, where you will find an abundance of places to eat and drink, as well as shops for picking up any essentials. Visitors can also look forward to spending time on either Traeth Crigyll or Traeth Llydan beaches, both offering excellent watersport opportunities. From here, you can also venture to Holy Island, home to the port of Holyhead, which offers regular trips to Dublin or you can venture to the impressive South Stack Lighthouse for some striking views towards Ireland. Other things to do include a trip to Newborough beach, where you can look forward to exploring the dunes, coastal marshes, sandy and rocky shores before walking to Ynys Llanddwyn, where St. Dwynwen, the Welsh patron saint of lovers lived. There is also the famous village Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, the city of Bangor and the magnitude of outdoor adventures in the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park awaiting to be enjoyed. Bring your loved one to Pensarn to share a memorable holiday to this part of Wales.

Rhosneigr is a seaside village west coast of Anglesey and situated a short distance away from famous Holyhead. The village is well-known for its cliffs and sandy beaches, and is home to a varied history including a 6th century church, tales of smugglers and famous off-shore shipwrecks, it is little wonder it has been a popular holiday destination since the Edwardian era.

The property was fantastic everything you need for a break the views from the hot tub on a morning were stunning when the sun was coming up I think it could be a little more accurate in the review as to how remote the property is but didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the lodge

  • Paula

The hot tub is fantastic with a private hut over it facing the views. The listing was fully accurate with no surprises.
