Guests say

Hazel Bank Cottage in Amlwch, Anglesey, is highly praised for its comfort, spaciousness, and well-equipped nature. Guests appreciate the peaceful location, ideal for exploring the island and nearby beaches. The welcome packs with treats are a delightful touch, though their presence is not guaranteed. Some minor suggestions for improvement include better recycling facilities and garden maintenance, but these do not detract from the overall positive experiences shared by visitors.

Most guests find the cottage to be very clean and comfortable. However, there is a single mention of the oven and some utensils not being up to standard, which suggests room for improvement in this area.

The cottage's location is frequently commended for its quietness and convenience for exploring Anglesey and visiting nearby beaches. It is described as a great base for local amenities and coastal walks.

Numerous reviews highlight the comfortable beds and the spaciousness of the cottage. One guest mentioned the need for a handrail in the shower for additional support, but overall, the property is seen as very comfortable.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially for self-catering, with a well-equipped kitchen and good amenities. Some guests suggest the addition of recycling bins and a cafetiere. The garden's presentation and maintenance are noted as areas that could be enhanced.

While many guests express gratitude for the welcome packs and the provision of essentials, there is no consistent reference to thoughtfulness as a separate attribute. Therefore, a score cannot be accurately provided for this category.

The cottage is perfect, fantastic facilities, warm and very very clean. The area is stunning, with lots of beautiful beaches close by . The welcome pack was a nice touch, as was the communication from the owners. We will definitely return.

We were left bottle of wine and some milk which was a kind touch and made us feel very welcome. Great location , and fair sized garden for children to play in . Great for a family , we took daughter, son and their 8 month old twins and a 3 year old and there was loads of space . The only downside , which is nothing to do with the cottage really , is that you can't really walk anywhere as it is in a lovley rural setting but traffic comes flying round the country road which is (as you'd expect ,) very narrow . But as long as you have transport, there is off road parking for 2cars and beaches 10 minutes away
