Head over to the shingle beach and pier where you can enjoy some traditional fish and chips whilst watching the boats gently bob with the tide, or visit the UNESCO site of Beaumaris Castle, constructed during the 1300s. There’s plenty to do in the town of Menai Bridge; visit the magnificent Pili Palas butter palace, uncover local history at the Menai Bridge Heritage Museum or enjoy a beautiful stroll through the Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens, a historic estate featuring 3 elaborate gardens. From here, you are in easy reach of the Eryri (Snowdonia0 National Park, ideal for those looking for some adventure exploring the magnificent rural and mountainous terrain, with excellent walking and cycling opportunities.
